A while ago I asked myself: How can I start a successful Internet Marketing Business? Where shall I start, what can I sell, how can I get this going? Like all of us, I received a lot of Spam how ‘easy’ it is to get rich quickly on the Internet and how stupid I am not to try NOW, joining the group ‘whatever’. Well, I guess if I try to join these kinds of groups it will indeed be possible to get rich quickly – for the people who initiated them. Getting started with your Internet Marketing Business is easier than you might think. The first step is to realize that at the end of the day you need to sell something to someone. If you are not comfortable with this, why would you like to start a business at all?
Next you need to consider your marketing method: old school marketing with cold calling and cold selling versus new school marketing with attraction marketing and pre-sold prospects. To me, attraction marketing sounded a lot more attractive. Now I knew which marketing method I wanted to use, and that left me with the fact that I actually had to learn HOW to do it.
The next thing, of course, is the product. You don’t need to create a product at the very beginning; go to one of the online market places (e.g. clickbank), pick whatever product you feel comfortable with and start to promote it.
As easy as this might sound, filling this rough frame with content and start earning the first bucks, sometimes isn’t easy. At least it wasn’t easy for me. I was new to all this and to actually learn how to attract people and which marketing tools to use was (and still is) a very interesting lesson. Now the term of “lifelong learning” makes a lot more sense to me!
If you are determined to start your Internet business, go ahead! Be prepared for a rough time, for success and failures, for a lot of fun and for financial freedom beyond your dreams!
